Hello everyone, never been to Canada before. We like quite a bit of high energy activity, fun and sightseeing but no so much hiking. Thinking about basing ourselves in Vancouver for a few days, then maybe Vancouver Island and then driving up to Whistler - but we really have no idea so any suggestions about an itinerary not too much driving and activities are really welcome.
Kids need the arts like cakes need icing. And there can never be too much icing. So we provide extraordinary Visual and Performing Arts opportunities for young people ages 2 to 19 to find their voice and develop self-confidence.
August Vancouver really does have it all, in a beautiful setting to boot. Visitors come from around the world to experience the best things to do in Vancouver; they're lured by pristine parks, vibrant diversity, endless culture, and awesome things to eat and drink. No visit to Vancouver is complete without getting a dose of nature though.
We are visiting we live in Arizona Vancouver Island first time for our 3 teenagers - 15, 18, 19 for 9 days at the end of this month July. We are flying in and out from Victoria. We definitely want to spend at least a few days in and around Victoria, and also plan to visit the area near Cowichan Bay distant family there - visiting them and also looking at the area for a future long term summer rental as well as Nanaimo.

HI, Looks like we are headed for Vancouver for a visa run. We will have two teenagers with us. I have searched the vancouver forums for things to do in Vancouver but the most popular suggestions seem to be parks, beaches, museums, spas and bars.
